10.4" Secondary Clutch Conversion Kit ('05 models only) Stock diameter is 10.0"; in '06 all diamond drive ACs went to a 10.4" producing improved shifting characteristics and reduced belt slippage. The larger diameter produces a lower gear ratio at engagement, while at top-end the larger diameter allows more belt surface contact, minimizing belt slippage and resulting in cooler running clutches. Studding Notes: MCB recommends the 'Power Point' with the 'Power Plate' for all applications over 90HP. These studs have better penetration than the 'SPT' or 'Excel' stud. MCB recommends the 'Power Plate' backer for any application over 1.08" in length regardless of HP.
