Performance Stages (For '98-00 XC700's)
Any of the three stages listed below will not only add sled-lengths and improve performance, but will also remove that common "bog, stumble, blubber" that most XC700's have.  Please specifiy the year of the 700 that you own, as components do vary.

Includes Boost Bottle, two new Main Jets, two Pilot Jets, two Custom Needles, Modified Slides, complete instructions and tuning tips. Provides a crisp low-end and throttle response, and eliminates the "popping" (backfire) at startup.

Stage II....Stage I package + MCB Clutch Kit

Stage III....Stage I + II packages + V-Force Reeds
Includes Stages I and II plus V-Force Delta II Reeds.  This combination will make your 700 run with ALL big bores up to 70-80 mph.  Overall fuel mileage will improve over stock; engine will operate at lower RPM's than stock at all trail speeds.

These kits clean up the low speed fuel circuit, which provide cleaner and crisper throttle response.  The jettting changes richen the mid-range fuel circuit for added reliability against burn-down, in the area where these 700's are lean from the factory.  The clutching changes and V-Force Reeds provide much more aggressive low-end and mid-range acceleration.  This kit makes the motor run at slower rpm's at cruising speeds for improved fuel mileage, clutch engagement is 4200 rpm and max shift is 7800-8000 depending on the year and cylinders that your specific model has (824/220).  For additional top-end speed, twin pipes must be added.
           
* NOTE:  On the XC700 cylinders, if the last three digits of the serial number end in "824", the sled will not run as fast in the midrange and top-end as those that end in "220".  This is due to porting changes that Polaris made in mid-'98.  "220" cylinders are only found on '97 and early '98 models.

MCB Moly-Coated OEM-Style Piston Kit

Studding Notes:  MCB recommends the 'Power Point' with the 'Power Plate' for all applications over 90HP. These studs have better penetration than the 'SPT' or 'Excel' stud.  MCB recommends the 'Power Plate' backer for any application over 1.08" in length regardless of HP. The 'Power Plate' gives the stud much better support than the standard aluminum backer, less deflection results in less stress & potential tearing of your track.
