Piston Kits

MCB Performance offers two choices of replacement Piston Kits for your rebuild, both as direct replacements to OEM pistons. MCB's own OEM-style piston kit, and Wiseco Pistons. For the Wiesco piston kits, as there are just too many different snowmobiles to have them all listed here, please call / email for exact pricing for your specific sled. However, listed below are a few of the more popular models as examples. Typically all triples and twins will be identical in pricing from one model to the next.

Most available in Standard Bore, .010", .020", .030", .040", .050", and .060" Overbore.

MCB O.E.M.-STYLE PISTONS

These OEM style pistons are manufactured by the largest two-cycle piston manufacturer in the world; the same company that makes most OEM snowmobile pistons. All pistons are MOS2 coated which consists of a Molybdenum / Teflon blend, and has proven to be the best for durability and lubricity. It is applied in a rolled process which provides 10 times the bond strength versus other spray-on coatings. The piston material is high silicone content to give the necessary hardness that aluminum pistons must have. The piston tops are hard anodize-coated for heat resistance and to minimize piston expansion and contraction; this, combined with the coating, virtually eliminates the possibility of cold seizure. All Pistons are exact OEM dimensions and mass, including the ring grooves (OEM rings are used!). These pistons are direct replacements, no modifications necessary, and offer equal or better than OEM performance at significantly less cost.
