Ultimate Flow Optimizer (UFO)

• The U.F.O. is a simple, trouble, free, aerodynamic piece that fits Mikuni carburetors from 34mm through 44mm.  The U.F.O. makes a normal round slide carb out-perform the more expensive flat side carb by eliminating turbulence and increasing airflow and velocity, creating a highly atomized fuel charge.
• MCB has performed EXTENSIVE testing on UFO's, and has had great results.  When set-up properly, this is the CHEAPEST HP you will ever bolt-on.
• We have the tuning notes required for your sled / model. Buy from MCB and save on your test & tuning time.
• Normal gains are 3/4 HP  to 1 HP per 100 cc of engine displacement.  Rejetting ang Tuning are required.  Provides for a broader power band and improves throttle response.
• UFO's have been thoroughly tested by MCB Performance.  These are NOT a marketing gimmick!  They really do work.  Some examples of the sleds that we tested with the UFOs:
• MXZ / Formula Z 670:  +8.5hp @ crank, +4.0 hp @ track
• ZRT600 / EXT600:  +6.5hp @ crank, +3.0 hp @ track
• ZRT800 / ThunderCat:  +16hp @ crank in the midrange
• UFO's require minor jetting and clutching changes for optimum performance.

Without the UFO, the air hits the forward wall of the slide cavity creating a rolling air turbulence which forces the poorly atomized fuel droplets to the lower portion of the carb bore resulting in poor fuel atomization and performance.	With the aerodynamic UFO filling the slide cavity, the rolling air turbulence is eliminated.  The higher velocity airflow pulls the full further up the needle and higher in the carburetor bore resulting in superior fuel atomization.  This means more HP, quicker throttle responce, improved fuel economy, and a cooler running engine.
